Hi Sup’er! 👩🏽‍🍳👨🏽‍🍳 There’s never too much gazpacho to go around! Hailing from the Andalusian area, a community in southern Spain, gazpacho provided refreshing nourishment for day laborers during the hot summer days. Sometimes, they would be given bread and oil for their meals. Then, they would soak the bread in water and the add oil, salt, and vegetables to be grinded together in a large wooden bowl called a dormillo. Eventually, Christopher Columbus took barrels of this mixture before leaving on his first voyage. Now, gazpacho can be found anywhere and can be an awesome meal or a snack.
